Thyroid wrap is a magnificent tool for your health. 
 
Please use as directed by your natural practitioner. Alternatively, pour a few tablespoons of castor oil on the fleece side of the wrap (the side facing your skin). Pour slowly and allow the fabric to absorb the oil right in the middle where you want it. Castor oil is VERY thick so be patient. Wrap around your neck and leave there for at least 2 hours or more. You may apply heat at this stage if that's what you desire. 
 
Castor oil penetrates deeper than any other oil so please do not use any other oil. Castor oil is what you want for these packs. 
 
Make sure that you only use a good quality and organic castor oil packaged in glass packaging and without hexane.
 
For Priessnitz wraps - Soak a piece of cloth (face cloth or cotton handkerchief is best) in ice cold water and squeeze the water out. Put it on your throat (or knee) and wrap this wrap around it. Make sure that the cloth covers smaller area than the wrap. Leave for at least 2 hours or more. What you have just done is you are aiding blood circulation to the area which promotes healing.
